I am a Research Associate at the Chair of Cyber Physical Systems in Production Engineering at Technical University of Munich (TUM), where I received my doctoral degree (summa cum laude), under the supervision of Marco Caccamo. During my doctoral studies, I was also a visiting researcher in the Department of Computer Science, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), hosted by Tarek Abdelzaher. Prior to joining TUM, I received my master’s degree from the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, where I was advised by Ling Wang. I also worked as a StarBridge research assistant at Microsoft Research Lab Asia (MSRA).
My research lies at the intersection of real-time cyber-physical systems and artificial intelligence, with a focus on building trustworthy and predictable intelligent systems that sense, reason, and act in the physical world. My work spans both real-time systems for AI, including scheduling and verification methods that ensure the timing correctness of AI workloads, and AI for real-time systems, including learning-assisted system design and optimization with formal timing guarantees. More broadly, I aim to advance the systems foundations of trustworthy physical intelligence, enabling AI to move beyond the digital world and operate safely and predictably where safety depends on acting at the right time.
